You can easily add applications to your account using ScoutIT’s catalog of preloaded applications or by adding additional applications of your choice.
App Catalog
To browse apps from ScoutIT’s catalog, click ManageIT > Manage Apps option, then select App Catalog.
To add any of the apps from the catalog to your account, select the desired application and click on the Add Selected Apps button.
Once the app has been added to your account, you will need to edit app details to successfully connect and monitor it.
Note that to monitor your application:
App should be active
Valid MP must be selected
Credentials you have entered must be valid and working.
Add a New App
To add additional apps outside of ScoutIT’s catalog, click the + (plus) button.
Enter all details from the Application section.
The Home Page URL is the URL of the page which comes after successfully logging in.
Mark the Is Active checkbox. An app will only get monitored, only if the Is Active button is checked.
ScoutITAi use Selenium scripting language to create scripts for Experience monitoring.
Authentication:
This section is visible only if you have selected an app from the app catalog.
Enter valid Username and Password. This is required to check site is active or not, with credentials you have given.
Use Show Advance Setting button if you want to modify Web Element.
Web Element
ScoutITAi supports interaction with HTML elements only.
Scripts can be created either manually or by using a 3rd-party script recorder.
ScoutITAi use Selenium scripting language to create scripts for Experience monitoring.
Web Element(s) you have added must be correct and in the correct sequence.
To test if your elements are valid or not, Add Web Element. Add valid value for username and password and click on Test AutoLogin. In background, with selenium script, we will check those credentials work or not.
If the data you have provided is correct, you will receive message, Login test successful.

In Monitoring Points (MP) section, you will see a list of MP(s) that you have purchased. Select the locations where you want to monitor the app.
After adding all valid data, click Submit to save all details.
